Handcrafted leather dog lead.

These leads are 25mm in width and made with a double layer of top grain vegetable tanned leather making them approximately 6mm thick. This makes them exceptionally strong and stretch resistant - perfect if you have a strong dog that pulls a lot.

The leather is hand dyed and finished with polished edges. The stitching is done high strength rot proof nylon thread and I use the heaviest duty toggle snaps on the end. The rivets are solid copper and rustproof.

The lead in the photo is black but they are made to order in any of the colours shown in the final photo.

I make my leads to a standard lenth of 1.8m (6ft). They can be made shorter or longer on request. Depending on the required length, longer leads may need to have a join at some point but this will be double stitched and riveted so the strength will not be compromised.

If you are happy with the standard length lead then please leave a note at the checkout with your preferred colour. If you require a custom length please message me via the contact page.

Plain leads are usually made and shipped within 4 to 5 days. Custom work may take a little longer.

UK and overseas shipping is done by Royal Mail and fully insured.

*All my leather goods are finished with a protective top coat and 3 coats of Aussie Wax. Please be aware that no leather can be completely waterproof. If the leather gets wet the colour of the leather may change as it dries. It won't damage the leather in any way but there will be some darkening of the shade.
